Medical Student Grand Rounds

About Us

The OSUCOM Student Council is proud to present Medical Student Grand Rounds, an platform where exceptional medical students are chosen to deliver monthly presentations on a wide array of medical topics. This program serves as an invaluable opportunity for medical students to showcase their knowledge, research, and public speaking skills, while also providing an enriching educational experience for the entire medical community.

Each month, one medical student is selected to present a Grand Rounds session, during which they delve into a chosen medical topic in depth. The selected student is given the chance to demonstrate their expertise, offer unique perspectives, and engage the audience in an insightful discussion. Medical students with a keen interest in research and an exemplary understanding of medical subjects are encouraged to apply for the opportunity to present at the Medical Student Grand Rounds. The Grand Rounds sessions are open to all members of the medical community, including faculty, residents, fellow students, and staff. The Medical Student Grand Rounds Program stands as a testament to our commitment to nurturing the talents and expertise of our medical students. By providing them with a platform to share their knowledge and engage in scholarly discussions with their peers, we aim to cultivate a community of passionate, knowledgeable, and engaged future physicians.
